The disciplinary committee is responsible for administering the policies and guidelines set forth and consists of four reasonably disinterested and impartial persons, appointed by the President of the Board.
The Events Committee develops the basic outline for each tournament, solicits sponsors, coordinates workers, and works with the Hockey Director who is ultimately responsible for running the tournaments. The committee also assists in the planning and execution of a variety of events and will have goals of ensuring the visibility of the organization to the public in multiple formats to continue to grow the program.
The Fundraising Committee's purpose is to raise funds to ensure the financial viability and stability of the organization. This committee shall serve to identify, organize, foster and promote opportunities by which the Bismarck Hockey Boosters may profit financially in order to ease the cost burden of its membership, promote the association, and attract new members.
The Gaming Committee consists of the Past President, President Elect and the Gaming Liaison. The committee helps to ensure the productivity of charitable gaming through appropriate regulation and oversight.
The Hockey Committee is made up of qualified individuals such as parents, coaches, board members and other individuals deemed qualified by the Board of Directors. The Hockey Committee will meet, at a minimum, quarterly to discuss topics related to the BHB On-Ice Program and to provide suggestions related to the on-ice curriculum. The Hockey Committee does not have the decision-making authority, but their input will be used to assist the Hockey Director to develop the BHB on-ice program and curriculum. Decision-making authority related to the BHB on-ice program and curriculum rests solely with the Board of Directors, with recommendations coming to the Board of Directors from the Hockey Director.
