BHB 2025-2026 Regular Season

The 2025-2026 BHB Regular Season is officially underway! As the year gets rolling, we want to make sure you have all the information you need.

This website page is one of the many ways we'll be sharing important updates and news about this season and other significant BHB events. To stay informed, please make sure to regularly check your emails, visit our official website, and follow us on Facebook.

We’re excited to share important details as we prepare for an exciting Squirts and 10U Girls Travel Season! Please read on for team announcements, schedules, and key dates to keep in mind.

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENTS

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Team Website Pages with game and practice schedules will go live by the end of the day Friday. Each team will also be assigned a color designation — SAR, SAW, SB1R, SB1W, SB1B, SCR, and SCW — which will be reflected on their respective pages once pages are live.
• In-House Teams will conclude with a Jamboree on November 21st-24th (November 24th only if needed).
• Players will transition to travel league the week of November 24th. Practices that week will be limited, and most teams will have no practices from Wednesday, November 26th through Sunday, November 30th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. A few teams may still hold practice on Wednesday, November 26th. Regular practice schedules will resume the week of December 1st.
• Please check back frequently, as calendars can change quickly.

Team Manager & Lockerroom Monitors Opportunities

If you're interested in serving as a Team Manager or Locker Room Monitor, please contact Mikayla Jablonski Jahner, Executive Director, as soon as possible at executivedirector@bismarckhockey.com to submit your request.

There is important information that needs to be communicated in the next day or two to ensure hotel blocks and other key team details are properly coordinated. Please note there will only be one Team Manager, and two Locker Room Monitors per team. If she doesn’t have anyone confirmed by tomorrow (Thursday), she will begin reaching out to teams directly to fill the roles of Team Manager and Locker Room Monitors.

Important Dates

• Squirt International Live Drawing: Tune in for a live drawing on Facebook at 6pm this evening (November 12th) to determine which teams will attend the Squirt International this season.
• In-House Jersey Hand-In: Team Managers are responsible for collecting all jerseys, ensuring they are washed and properly folded in their team bins, and turning them in on Tuesday, November 25th between 5:30-6:30pm at CIC. Team Managers should also turn in their team flags at the same time.
• Travel Team Jersey Hand-Out: Travel Team Managers will be responsible for picking up the jerseys on Tuesday, November 25th between 5:30-6:30pm at CIC and then distributing them to their teams and completing an inventory list to return to executivedirector@bismarckhockey.com
• Travel Team Picture Day:  These will be taken on Monday, December 8th or Tuesday, December 9th. More information to come.  

Coaches

Coaches were assigned by the Hockey Director and Assistant Hockey Director. We want to remind families to respect the coaches and their decisions at all times, as this helps us retain quality coaches and ensures the continued success and growth of our program.

Thank you for your continued support and for being part of the BHB family.

Please keep in mind our 24-Hour Rule, which asks that you take at least 24 hours to reflect before addressing any grievance. This allows everyone to approach situations thoughtfully and respectfully.

As we get ready for the season, we want to remind everyone of the Zero-Tolerance Policy outlined in the 2025–2026 BHB Handbook. A successful season relies on all of us working together, following these policies, and showing true Capitals spirit. By doing so, we ensure a fun and positive experience for all players and families.

2023-2024 BHB SQUIRTS/10U TRAVEL Team Announcements

We hope this email finds you well and full of anticipation for the upcoming Squirts/10U Travel Season!

Team Announcements: Squirt Teams and 10U Teams

A few things to note:

• Team website pages have been released and this is where you will find your team's game/practice schedule.  Practice schedules through the end of December are posted. And, as many of you are aware, calendars can change very quickly so please make sure you check back frequently for updates.
• Team Managers are still needed for Peewee B1 Red, Peewee B1 White and Peewee B Red. If you interested, please reach out to Mikayla Jablonski Jahner, Executive Director immediately at executivedirector@bismarckhockey.com. 
• The Squirt In-House Jamboree is set to take place November 30th - December 4th (December 4th is only if needed). 
• BHB All Team Photo is Wednesday, November 29th (More Info to Come)
• Squirts/10U In-House Jersey Hand-In is Tuesday, December 5th from 5-6pm.
  • Team Managers will be responsible for collecting their team's jersey's and handing them in all at once. The Team Manager may decide to collect the jerseys at the completion of the in-house jamboree and wash the jerseys themselves, or each family can wash their own and then will need to be collected by the team manager to turn-in. Jersey's MUST be washed prior to turning in.
• Squirts/10U Travel Jersey Hand-Out is Tuesday, December 5th from 5-6pm.
  • Team Managers for the travel teams will be responsible for picking up the jerseys and getting them handed out to their team and completing the jersey inventory list which will then need to be returned to executivedirector@bismarckhockey.com.
• Squirts/10U Travel Team Picture Day is the evening of Sunday, December 10th. (More Info to Come)

2023-2024 BHB Team Announcements

A few things to note:

• You will find your player’s assigned group by their jersey number and the color they wore during the games for tryouts. 
• If you are interested in being a coach, team manager or locker room monitor for your team, please reach out to Mikayla Jablonski Jahner, Executive Director immediately at executivedirector@bismarckhockey.com. 
• Team website pages will be released on Friday, October 20th and this is where you will find your team's schedule.  Practice schedules through the end of November will also be uploaded on this day.  Please remember that dryland schedules are included with the practice schedules and dryland is a mandatory practice.  And, as many of you are aware, calendars can change very quickly so please make sure you check back frequently for updates.
• Fall Kickoff Event is Sunday, October 22nd (More information can be found at www.bismarckhockey.com/fallkickoff.)
• Practices & Dryland start on Monday, October 23rd
• Squirt Games start Saturday, October 28th
• Squirt/10U will start the season in-house and then will have an end of in-house Jamboree taking place December 1st-3rd and then at time they will switch into their travel leagues. New teams will be announced at the end of November.
• Squirts Picture Day is Tuesday, October 24th
• Bantams/Peewees/Girls Picture Day is Thursday, October 26th.
• BHB Coaches Meeting will take place Wednesday, October 25th from 5:30-7:00pm at CIC. If you haven’t signed up for your required coaching clinic, this will take place on Sunday, October 29th from 4-6pm at CIC. Coaches must complete all requirements listed on the coaches page, including registering as a coach with BHB thru the 2023-2024 BHB Regular Season Registration and completing all employment documentation requirements, prior to helping with any on-ice activities or in any other capacity within BHB. 
• A BHB Team Managers Meeting is scheduled for October 25th, 2023 from 6:15-7:30pm at CIC. At this time, you will receive scorebooks, team stickers, and important information.

Please keep in mind our 24 Hour Rule, in which we ask that before any grievances are formed, you wait 24 hours to think about how you will address your grievance.
