Exciting news awaits as we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our 2024 Intro to Hockey Program this early fall!  This program offers a fantastic opportunity for youth to dive into the exhilarating world of hockey at a low-cost, low-risk level. Get ready to lace up your skates and embark on a journey to discover the fundamentals of skating and playing hockey like never before!

Here's what you need to know:

Program Overview: The Intro to Hockey Program provides youth with a gateway into the thrilling sport of hockey, offering six sessions packed with fun and learning.

Eligibility: Youth who have not previously participated in BHB programs are invited to join the Intro to Hockey Program.

Equipment: Thanks to the generous support of the Bismarck Hockey Boosters and our sponsors, all equipment needed for the program will be provided free-of-charge. And here's the best part – if your child decides to continue with the regular season after completing the Intro to Hockey Program, they get to keep all the equipment!

Registration Details: Secure your child's spot in the program for only $100. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so you won't want to wait too long once registration opens.

Participant Requirements: Participants must be enrolled in or will be enrolled in schools within Bismarck Public Schools, the Bismarck Parochial School System, or attend a school within Burleigh County.

Group Options: Choose the group that works best for your schedule – but act fast, as spots are limited to 40 kids per group!

Age Requirements: Children must be at least 4 years old by May 31st of the current year, and we welcome children up to 4th grade. Have a child older than 4th grade? Reach out to operationscoordinator@bismarckhockey.com for more information.

Gear Handout will take place on Thursday, August 29th from 5:30-7:30pm at Capital Ice Complex (Schaumberg Rink).

Any players that register on August 30th or after, should plan on attending a make-up gear handout day on Thursday, September 5th from 5:30-6:30pm. Please note, we will not offer another time or date for equipment pick-up.
