For those looking to start officiating hockey or those who are needing and wanting the next level, dates and times for upcoming Officiating Seminars.
Level 1-2-3-4 Seminars
Every official must attend a USA Hockey Officiating Seminar. Beginning this season, all seminars are done virtually. The allotted time for each officiating level is as follows:
ND Seminars are now available at Officiating Classroom Seminars (usahockey.com).
You are not required to attend a seminar instructed by your home district or state. You are required to attend the correct level seminar you registered for as an official. You cannot attend a Level 3 seminar if you registered as a Level 2 official. You must attend the virtual seminar for the entire session. If you do not attend the correct level or do not stay online for the entire seminar - YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE SEMINAR CREDIT!
If a Level 1 seminar is scheduled for 2 different days, you must attend the same seminar for both sessions to receive credit. Example: You cannot attend the first half of a Level 1 seminar instructed by the MN district and the second half of a Level 1 seminar instructed by the NP district. You must attend both halves of the same seminar to receive credit.
All seminars nationwide are now virtual. This is for all levels of officiating. You may attend any seminar you wish, provided it is the appropriate level and matches the level you registered for. Please make sure you note the seminar time zone when you register. This can be accessed on your profile page. Next to the "My Profile" words in the red banner, click on "USA Hockey Courses". You can then search for available seminars.
Look on the USA Hockey Website for other clinics in the area and for further information and requirements.
