We are excited to introduce a new summer hockey opportunity through our partnership with Sanford Sports! The BHB Summer Ice Program is designed to provide players with high-quality instruction and development, led by some of the best in the game.

This program will be led by Layne Sedevie, BHB Hockey Director, and Grant Mindt, Lead Hockey Academy Specialist at Sanford Sports. Players will also have the opportunity to learn from guest coaches, including Brady Heppner, Garrett Roth, Tim Meyer, Alec Rauhauser, and more.

To ensure quality instruction, space is limited to 30 skaters per level and 4 goalies per level (Squirts/10U & Older). We encourage early registration to secure your spot.

What makes this program stand out? Flexibility. We know summer schedules can be busy, so we offer Skaters multiple ways to participate:

• Sign up for all three weeks
• Register for a single week
• Take advantage of our drop-in sessions

Throughout the program, players will focus on skill development and in-game situations along with on and off ice training, helping them refine their abilities and prepare for the upcoming season. Goalie Opportunities – A limited number of goalie spots (Squirts/10U & Older) will be available at a discounted rate. Goalies will only have the option to sign-up for all three weeks. Goalies will participate in both on-ice and off-ice training.

• On-Ice Training – Limited individual work each day, along with ample opportunities to face shots.
• Off-Ice (Dryland) Training – Focus on stickhandling, shooting, and juggling, all done using a glove, blocker, and goalie stick.

We are excited to announce that our recently announced BHB Summer Ice Program, in partnership with Sanford Sports – will open tomorrow, Monday, March 24th, at 5 PM for Session 1 (June 9th-26th)! This program is designed to provide players with top-tier instruction and development, led by some of the best in the game.

Our coaching lineup includes Layne Sedevie, BHB Hockey Director, and Grant Mindt, Lead Hockey Academy Specialist at Sanford Sports, along with guest appearances from Brady Heppner, Garrett Roth, Tim Meyer, Alec Rauhauser and more!

Registration Details:

• Early Access: Registration is currently only open to current BHB players. If space remains available, we will extend registration to outside participants at a later date.

• Register Online: Visit www.bismarckhockey.com/summerice to sign up. Registration opens March 24th at 5 PM.

• Flexible Options: We understand summer schedules vary, so we are offering multiple registration choices:

  • Full three-week session enrollment

  • Single-week registration

  • Drop-in sessions

• Girls 8U-15U Only Sessions: Girls players may choose to register for these sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays or at their equivalent level with the boys.

Throughout the program, players will focus on skill development and game situations, both on and off the ice, to prepare for the upcoming season.
