Registration Information

Basic registration information can be found here but we encourage you to click on the "Registration" link at the top of the page to find more details about Regular Season, Summer Season, Preseason, and Intro to Hockey.

2022-2023 Regular Season Hockey Registration

Hockey registration for the regular season is open for the 2022-2023 season!  Before registering, please review this important information and make sure you read through everything on the registration page, as there are some changes that have taken place and we want to make sure everyone understands what they are agreeing to when they register for the season.

  • The registration link can be found here, at the bottom of the page.
  • Early Bird Discounts will automatically be applied if you register prior to August 1.  After August 1, the discount is no longer valid and the fees increase by $400 for 10U/Squirts and up.
  • You must register through USA Hockey before registering with BHB.
  • Please make sure you enter your child's information correctly, as it is difficult to change once it is time to roster kids.
  • Please register all siblings together under one registration.  This makes it easier to track families across all levels.
  • The DIBS Policy has changed, with the biggest changes to note being an increase to $500 for the buyout and most members needing to complete 12 hours of DIBS shifts.  It is your responsibility to review this policy and understand what is required of you.
  • Coaches MUST be certified and registered prior to December 31 in order to receive their DIBS credit and/or be compensated.  No exceptions.
  • The BHB Handbook is a great place for information regarding our policies and operations.  You can find this and other documents here.
  • By registering for the season, you are agreeing that you have read, you understand, and you agree to all policies and requirements put into place by BHB, NDAHA, and USA Hockey.
  • If your child is moving up a level due to continuing to play with his/her grade level in school, please contact the Executive Director at mikaylajablonski@gmail.com to confirm.  If any members falsely provide information to BHB pertaining to their child's registration information, there will be disciplinary action taken.
  • If you are expecting to receive a discount outside of the Early Bird Discount for the upcoming hockey season, please email the Executive Director at mikaylajablonski@gmail.com to receive your discount code.  You will need to include your child's level of play and how many children you are registering at one time.

As always, if you have questions or run into any issues with registration, please feel free to reach out to mikaylajablonski@gmail.com.

2022 Summer Camp

BHB's 2022 Summer Camp is now open for registration.  The Summer Camp will offer both on-ice instruction and dryland training.  All camps are two weeks in length and run July 18-21 and 25-28.  Goalies are free - please do not register as a goalie - contact programdirector@bismarckhockey.com to claim a goalie spot.  For more information and to register, visit the link below.

BHB 2022-2023 Season Information

June has snuck up on us all and it is crazy to think it is time to start thinking about hockey season again!  But, then again, a lot of people never stop thinking about hockey!

BHB wants to provide you with the most up to date information so you can prepare for the upcoming season.

The BHB Handbook has been updated and that is attached to this email.  We ask that all members review this handbook, as there are important updates to policies and how each level is structured.  Upon registering, you are agreeing that you have read all information contained in the Handbook and you agree to all policies.  You can also find the Handbook, along with certain policies on our website at:  https://www.bismarckhockey.com/page/show/2882737-handbook-policies-and-forms

One specific policy that you should note is the DIBS Policy, which is also included in the Handbook.  The updated DIBS Policy requires all members to complete 12 hours and the buyout is now $500.00.  There are a few exceptions to this, such as volunteers and coaches, so please be aware of what your required DIBS are for the year.  COACHES - please make sure you know what is required of you in order to receive compensation and/or DIBS credit!  We will not give credit for any DIBS hours if you have not completed the requirements for coaching prior to December 31.

June 15 marks the start of registration for regular season!  We will send an email off once it is opened and also post a message on Facebook.  You will notice there is still the early bird discount for those upper levels who register prior to August 1 so please register early.

Also, if you expect to receive any sort of discount for this season, please email mikaylajablonski@gmail.com prior to registering and specify which discount you should be receiving and how many children you will be registering!  Per our handbook, only one discount will be honored per family.

Preseason will run a bit differently than in the past so be on the lookout for that information soon!
