Bismarck, North Dakota - Mario Lamoureux has been named the Hockey Director for Bismarck Hockey Boosters. Not only is Mario Lamoureux a name that is well known in the Bismarck community, but he also brings valuable experience with his years of playing and coaching hockey.

• 2x ND HS State Champion
• 4 years in the USHL
• 4 Years at UND
• 9 Years of Professional Hockey in North America & Europe
• 2 Years Head Coach of Legacy High School

In speaking with Mario about his new role, he is excited to get started with BHB and Continue to develop our hockey players while also building relationships within the BHB Family.

"I am excited about the opportunity to help lead the Bismarck Capitals Program into the future. I am very motivated to help create a winning environment that will promote hard work, teamwork, dedication, and discipline. Hockey should create memorable experiences, and I will strive to help create those positive memories that every hockey player deserves to have regardless of age or level. Improvement requires sacrifice, dedication, and a willingness to do the hard things. I will try to use my experiences to implement positive changes into the program. We will push to raise the ceiling right away. 

I will be committed to helping the Bismarck Capitals take steps forward on the ice, and I will continue to oversee all of the same off-season Lamoureux Hockey, Dakota Warriors, and Trench Training programs that I have had in previous years to continue to develop all players in the region and beyond.

I believe that playing with and against players from outside of your winter club is so valuable in the development as a hockey player, as it gets kids outside of their comfort zone. The strength of the program will improve if everyone takes steps forward. I will remain committed to helping the region as a whole, providing more opportunities in our city and beyond, and work to bring up the level of play across the entire region. "
