As we are days away from registration for our upcoming 2024-2025 hockey season, we want to announce that the Bismarck Hockey Board received Mario's resignation on June 28, 2024. His decision did not come lightly but after careful consideration he has made a difficult decision to resign from his role as Hockey Director from BHB.

Mario's last day with BHB will be Friday, July 12, 2024.

Mario’s contributions to the youth hockey world over the last several years have made countless positive impacts on our hockey players, hockey culture, and hockey community. Mario dedicates endless amounts of time in the spring and summer months so his ability to have time with his family in the winter is important to him. For this reason, he made the decision to resign after an unexpected job opportunity was presented to him that will allow him to spend more time with his family during those months. BHB fully supports and respects his decision to focus on what is best for his family and we look forward to continuing to see his work with young players in the offseason.

We are grateful for Mario's contributions and leadership during his time with us. Through his resignation letter, Mario informed BHB that he will still be around and he hopes to help out and stay involved with the development of players in the future so we will be sure to take advantage of that offer.

Thank you, Mario, for all your hard work and dedication. You will be greatly missed on the ice, but we are happy to continue working with you at Trench Training this upcoming season. We wish you all the best!
